Rectxt is a texting Chrome extension that gives recruiters the ability to text straight from their browser without using their personal numbers.

Summary

I have been updating the Chrome extension settings, building the landing page and am currently building the mobile app.

Deliverable #1: Landing Page

See It Live

Task

Our original landing page needed work, so we started from the ground up in building a new Rectxt landing page experience.

Goal

Create a landing page that well represents the Rectxt brand and product features.

Timeline

Design: 2 Week

Working with the cofounders of Rectxt, I designed the page to be simple and straight forward. We aim to let users know what we are and how we can help - making sure the fluff didn't get in the way of our messaging. This was a speedy turnover design process, meaning we dove straight into a high fidelity design. Given the simplicity of the page, it didn't present many issues.

Development: 2 Week

I used Webflow to build the website. Though Webflow is fairly easy to use, the learning curve still exists. This did stall the project by a little bit, but the pages came out as desired. What I enjoyed most about using Webflow is how it reflects quite well in how you would normally style in CSS.

QA: A few days

We spent the last bit of our time on this going through every page on Desktop and Mobile to make sure everything worked well, from responsive design to click interactions.
